Dear Editor:
I don't know whose idea it was to send me a copy of the Gazette, but I sure do appreciate it and would like to have you send it every week. If you will send me the bill, I will be glad to forward you a check. I thought I could get along without the Gazette, but I find a little news from back home is quite welcome. Things are fine down here, the weather is beautiful, its hard to realize its winter up there. and you'd be surprised how many East Hartford people are already here, or have been here. Florida has more tourists this year, than ever before.
We didn't get to Lakeland as we had planned, but I like this town much better. Considering the fact that we have been here several times before we have a number of friends, and don't feel quite so homesick.
We expect to come back to East Hartford, late in the summer, so until then we will be thinking of everyone back there. Don't forget to send me the Gazette, will you! we will be watching for it anxiously. Thanking you, I am
