Full Text
The republicans of Anne Arundel and Caroline counties are beginning to bestir themselves. In the former a committee has been appointed to make a proper selection of candidates; and in the latter, the candidates are already named. We hope this example of industry will be followed by every county in the state. We are persuaded that proper exertions alone are wanting to the complete re-establishment of republicanism in Maryland. The film which has obscured the political sight of the people of this state for two or three years past, is nearly removed, and the majority are desirous of again having the political complexion of their state government in unison with that of the general government.
