Accidentally Drowned.—Hugh Connor, aged 7 years, son of George W. Conner, of Port Deposit, is supposed to have been drowned in the Susquehanna river, at that place, last Sunday evening. When last seen he was at the end of a raft, trying to catch drift wood, the river being very high. On Monday dynamite cartridges were exploded on the water, for the purpose of bringing his body to the surface. They had not the desired effect and it is believed that falling overboard he was carried away by the rapid current.
