The work of God, which commenced in December last in this town, still continues, with increasing prospects. On the 7th inst. I baptized six, and Eld. J. J. Wentworth has baptized five. I have appointments for baptism to-morrow and the day following. The reformation is very glorious in the first Church in this town above the Hills. It is now eleven months since the Lord revived his work in a wonderful manner in my soul, and around me. O, brother Buzzell, pray for me that I may keep humble through life, and always be in a reformation, if it is God's will.
E. Place.
