Auto Tourists In Kansas Town Blocked by Snow

Topeka, Kan., Mar. 22.—One hundred and thirty automobile tourists, many ill from exposure and without medical aid, are stranded at Kendall, Kansas, blocked by the heavy snows that swept western Kansas last week.

Kendall is a village of under one hundred population. The plight of the tourists, among whom are many women and children, was made known by a telegram to the office of Governor Davis asking for aid. The governor ordered authorities to open up the roads.
