Consecration, &c. On Thursday last, St. Mark's Church, in Warren, was solemnly Consecrated for the service of Almighty God by the Rt. Rev. Bishop Griswold. The Bishop preached an excellent sermon on the occasion.

In the afternoon, the Congregation again met to witness the Ordination of Mr. George W. Hathaway, Pastor elect of the Society, to the Holy order of Priest; and of Mr. Crane, of Providence, to the Holy order of Deacon. The Rev. Mr. West of Taunton, preached the Ordination sermon

After the Ordination, four persons were confirmed by the Bishop: and the Holy Sacrament of the Lord's Supper administered.

The choir of Singers, from the Episcopal Church in Taunton, who complimented us with their services, acquitted themselves in a manner highly creditable to their skill, and pleasing to their auditors.

The weather was of the finest description and nothing of an unhappy character happened to mar the pleasures of the day Many strangers from Bristol, Providence, Pawtucket, Taunton, and elsewhere, were present, so that we remember no time which has witnessed such a collection of ladies and gentlemen in this town as the present. All seemed-highly pleased with the appearance of the Church, which they assembled to dedicate and joined in the wish, that the connexion between Mr. Hathaway and the Society under his charge, so auspiciously commenced; might be attended with the happiest consequences.-
