Full Text

One of the bags of newspapers stolen from the boot of the Mail Coach a few weeks since, between Philadelphia and New-York, was found on the 14th inst. in a rye field, on the post road, between Bridgetown and Brunswick, by some men who were harvesting the grain, and was taken to the Post Office in New York. The rogues cut a large slit in the bag, thinking, no doubt, they had got a great prize; but, as soon as they discovered the nature of its contents, they found their mistake, and did not give themselves the trouble to overhaul the packages.—N.
