HIGH GRADE CERTIFICATE.

Young Lady Teacher Scores a Big Triumph.

Miss Alice Lander, of the city schools faculty, while attending the State Teachers' Association at Lexington last week, stopped over at Frankfort and took the state teachers' examination. She passed the examination with great credit, at the head of a class of ten, attaining an average grade of 94. On many of the branches her grade was as high as 98. The certificate is a first-class one and is for life and is good in any county in Kentucky. Miss Lander is one of the best and most popular teachers in the city schools.
