Event Details
Donadieu traveled with General Victor to Flushing and lodged at D.. Schede's house. On the day the First Consul visited Flushing, Donadieu was suddenly ordered confined to his lodgings. Later arrested in Hague and taken to Brussels on charge of plotting against the First Consul's life. The measure may have thwarted the plot; First Consul was unprotected in Flushing.
