Isn't THAT MAN, Thanks
It can happen here! A painter and paper-hanger from Berlin, is a King in the United States Army.
The King, 24, is the son of a paper-hanger of Irish descent. Just to complicate matters further he has nine brothers and sisters working in various positions in and about Berlin, with a population of approximately two-thirds German parentage.
He is Pvt. Boyd H. King, of Berlin, Wis., a recruit at Keesler Field. Of the large German population in his home town, Private King reports, many have enlisted in the U. S. Army.
"They are strictly American," he declares.
Private King's ancestors have been American citizens for generations. He hadn't thought of the similarity to a certain little paperhanger from another Berlin until bunkmates began "ribbing" him about it.
