We hear daily of speculations among the people and in the papers concerning Gen. Harrison's cabinet. We opine that they are labor lost. We do not believe Gen. Harrison has made his round yet. and do not think he ought to until he arrives at Washington and comes in contact with the leading men of the country, and more familiar with the exigencies of the case. We think he will examine men with a critical eye and appoint his cabinet of working men who will ferret out abuses that are now in the departments. and stop them in future. You will not find Gen. Harrison hasty in this matter: but a clear and shrewd man. who will go into office with a knowledge of his duties and a determination to them.
