The markets all along the coast were extremely dull; and very few articles could be quoted with any degree of accuracy.
The U. S. ship Brandywine, Com. Jones, was at Callao on the 2d June, to sail on the 20th for Rio de Janeiro and New York; and the U. S. ship Vincennes, Captain Finch, for the Sandwich Islands and the Cape of Good Hope. The U. S. ship Guerriere and St. Louis arrived at Callao on the 19th of June.
Strong northerly gales were experienced at Valparaiso on the 4th and 16th July, but no material damage was sustained by the shipping.

A revolution in Peru was effected by the party friendly to Bolivar. A plot was discovered in St. Jago where a Lieutenant was spared to disclose implicants. On June 6, General La Fuente with 1500 troops from Islay revolutionized Lima, taking the Palace and Castles of Callao. Markets along the coast were dull. US ships Brandywine, Vincennes, Guerriere, and St. Louis were at or near Callao in June. Strong northerly gales at Valparaiso on July 4 and 16 caused no damage to shipping.
