Enfield Veterans Complete Course
The seventeen veterans enrolled in the farm training program in the Enfield department of Vocational Agriculture have recently completed their course in shop training for the spring. Classes in shopwork will be resumed again next September. Meetings are held every Tuesday night for regular classroom instruction for a period of two hours. Fred Hoyle, assistant teacher of Agriculture, reports that a splendid record of attendance has been made and that veterans have shown much interest in the work. In the shop a large amount of farm machinery has been repaired and fitted for the farm. Useful equipment for the home and farm has been constructed. At each meeting of the class special instruction in the use of tools and shop equipment was given.
Veterans enrolled in the Farm Training course were: Kenneth Barnhill, J. C. Hall, Homer Hux, Balfour Keeter, Calvin Lewis, C. W. Locke, W. E. Neville, J. T. Paramore, Charles L. Rives. Edison Sexton, Clarence Twisdale, Cullen Twisdale. Robert Twisdale. Douglass Viyrette, Lloyd Ward, Haywood Waters and William J. Wells.
