The extension leader directed the first Regional 4-H camp in the Nation's capital, developed a systematic training program for extension supervisors, and established improved liaison relations between his office and the State staffs. Mr. Stone is retiring to his home in Savannah, Ga., near the banks of the Savannah river. He says he plans to devote most of his time to fishing and other forms of recreation. He is married and has three daughters. Succeeding Mr. Stone is A. S. Bacon, former State supervisor of Negro extension work in Georgia.
