Mr. Stone, an extension leader, directed the first Regional 4-H camp in the Nation's capital, developed a systematic training program for extension supervisors, and established improved liaison relations between his office and the State staffs. He is retiring to his home in Savannah, Ga., to fish and recreate, and is married with three daughters. He is succeeded by A. S. Bacon, former State supervisor of Negro extension work in Georgia.
