Fishermen Still Thinking It Over
TAMPA (LPA) Florida fishermen are cautious fellows, CIO southern organizers have learned. Back in June 1947 Charles Cowl, Florida CIO organizing director, wrote an independent fishermen's union urging anglers to affiliate with CIO.
He enclosed a self-addressed stamped envelope.
Last week more than a year later - an answer was received in the CIO office. It came in the same self-addressed envelope. But the fishermen still aren't rushing things. They want more information and a little time to think it over.
