COUNTY UNIT TOLD FARM
TRUCKS MADE AVAILABLE

J. W. McCurry, chairman of the
county AAA committee advises
all
persons having filed applications for
the purchase of new trucks and had
applications rejected, to contact
dealers in motor vehicles, as used
motor vehicles of various makes,
models, and types are scheduled to
be offered for sale to dealers during
the month of October.

"Sales will be made only to deal-
ers who can qualify under the defi-
nition of a dealer listed by the pro-
curement division of the Treasury
Department and dealers will be re-
quired to sign a certification to this
effect. A business maintained for
the purpose of purchasing used ve-
hicles for scrap, or in order to sal-
vage usable parts for resale is not
considered a dealer as defined by
the procurement division," Mr. Mc-
Curry stated.

"A complete schedule, as to dates
and places of these sales, has been
furnished your local AAA commit-
tees and any additional information
on the procedure to be followed at
sales will be gladly furnished at the
county AAA office," Mr. McCurry
stated.
