Robert Lee presided at the meeting in Turn Hall on Saturday morning. Mr. Gompers, president of the American Federation of Labor warns the machinists to beware of agents of the Delaware & Lackawanna Railroad Company, who are endeavoring to hire machinists to work in its shops. The following communication was read from Mr. Gompers:
Headquarters American Federation of Labor,
Washington, D. C., June 13, 1901.
Warning- Machinists are still on a strike for the nine hour day. A Mr. Carpenter and other agents are endeavoring to obtain machinists to take the place of the strikers in the Delaware & Lackawanna railroad shops and other places. Do not accept such engagements. Stand by the machinists and all workers struggling for their rights.

Thomas E. Cahill, one of J. Morton Poole Company's machinists is president of Wilmington Lodge, No. 184 and not Robert E. Lee, as has been announced on several occasions. Mr. Cahill has been ill and Mr. Lee has been acting president of the lodge in his absence.
