VICTORY LOAN FILM
PRESENTS MESSAGE
FROM SEC'Y GLASS

Secretary Carter Glass of the U. S. treasury, who is pictured in "The Price of Peace," the Victory Liberty Loan film of the war, has written a message to all good bond buying Americans, which is presented on the screen in the picture:

"The SEVENTEEN billions you have loaned the government on Liberty bonds and the anticipated proceeds of the Victory Liberty Loan have made possible the greatest military achievement in the history of the world.

"This money has empowered us to put a winning army of two million men on the battle lines three thousand miles away from home.

"This money has enabled us to end the war a year earlier than the most optimistic expected.

"This money has saved us billions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of lives.

"No longer you are asked to give lives; now you are asked only to lend your money to finish the great task.

"The American people will respond to the call of the patriotism of peace."

This message is the only appeal of the picture. The rest of it is history as it happened, when it happened, a record of big deeds.

This film will be sent to The Evening Leader and shown in the Royal theatre at an early date. Watch for the date.
