OF GEORGIA KIWANIANS
VALDOSTA, Jan. 28.-This city has joined the Kiwanis clubs and a club has been organized here. This was perfected this week with E. E. Dekle, president; Paul R. Lilly first vice-president; William S. West, Second vice-president; O. L. Keogel, treasurer. A. F. Gibson, Dr. L. R. Scott, C. C. Jones, W. F. Staten, Dr. F. H. Thomas and J. A. Campbell, Jr., were named as the board of directors. Capt. J. L. Newbern was selected district trustee. The club will meet for luncheon every Friday. The membership at organization was exactly fifty and fifty were present. The members started off enthusiastic. Rev. L. R. Scott and Rev. H. D. Johnson were the principal speakers at the organization meeting. When the charter arrives from the international it will be presented by District Governor Walter Harris and Kiwanians from South Georgia will be invited to come down and help make merry.
