Full Text
This morning, July 31st, the number of those who had registered for voting in the coming primaries reached 2733, according to Miss Ada Law, County Registrar.
The last day to register is Saturday of next week, Aug. 9th, and anyone who has not registered by that time, of course, loses the right to vote.
The old registration books, now abandoned, showed well over 4000 registered, but probably a good number, although deceased or removed from the county, were still carried. However, there should be many more than 3000 qualified to register, and even to reach that figure, there will have to be a heavy registration next week.
