Supposed Nevada Bachelor's Estate of $400,000 Will Be Awarded to Her.
RENO, June 25.--Mrs. Anna Blundell-Lee Wednesday night appeared in Judge Pike's court and testified that she became the wife of the late John Lee June 17, 1884, and produced papers to show that she was legally married to him on that date.
Judge Pike then ordered that she be recognized as John Lee's legal widow and that she be given a widow's share in the estate of the pioneer Nevadan.
This estate will amount to nearly $400,000, most of it being in California.
James Boyd, who until Mrs. Anna Blundell claimed to be Lee's widow, was the only living heir of John Lee, has made no fight against the woman, and without a doubt she will secure most of the estate.
