ESCAPED FROM GREECE
Rich Sioux Falls Man Disguises Himself as Officer.

Sioux Falls, Dec. 6.—Disguising himself as an officer, Gust Keriakades, wealthy leader of the Greek colony in Sioux Falls, was able to escape from his native land and reached Sioux Falls yesterday. He left Sioux Falls last May for a visit at his old home in Greece, intending to remain there only a few weeks. But he was detained by the Greek military authorities, and not until a couple of weeks ago was he able to elude the authorities and make his way out of Greece. He had no passports, but he walked aboard a ship when he reached the coast, passed in close proximity to the customs officer and the military officers, but mistaking him for an officer in the Greek army, he having disguised himself by donning a captain's uniform, they, instead of demanding his passports, saluted him as he went aboard.
