IN CALIFORNIA
SACRAMENTO, Cal., Sept. 24.-
The assembly of the California Legislature is on record for outlawing the Communist Party from California.
The measure was passed with only three dissenting votes.
The measure to become effective must have the approval of the State Senate and Gov. Olson. The latter has signified his willingness to approve the measure if the Senate passes it.
The measure was passed after the state Democratic Central Committee and the Republican Central Committee approved such action.
Sponsors charge that the Communist Party has as its purpose to lead the country into a dictatorship of the proletariat.
