Attorney Carl Sherwood of Clark has secured from the supreme court writ of error and certificate of probable cause in the case of the state vs. Carl Jackson, who was charged with wrecking the First State bank of Clark and making a false report to the bank examiner as to the condition of that institution and for which he was given a sentence of one year in the penitentiary. The certificate of probable cause acts as a stay of proceedings until the case can come before the supreme court at the October term.
