WINNERS IN SUB. ELIMINATION CONTEST

Winners in Different Classes Will Meet to Pick Three to Represent Willmar High

The sub-elimination contest for declamatory, oratorical, and humorous selections was held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of last week. More students have entered this contest this year and should be commended for their good work. Miss Espeseth, Miss Lorentzen and Mr. Brohaugh judged the selections of the Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. Miss Mehlhouse, Miss Stenseth and Miss Eikenes judged the Freshmen selections.

Following is the decision of the judge:

Freshmen-

Declamation--Lovha Wakefield.

Oration-Rodney Endersbe.

Humor-Rollis Farrel.

Sophomore-

Declamation-Margaret Overgaard.

Oration-Lewis Bredeson

Humor-Margaret Jorstad.

Junior-

Declamation-Martha Crowe.

Oration-Howard Hong.

Humor-Pearl Elkjer.

Senior

Declamation-Ruth Olson,

Oration-Clinton Haroldson.

Humor-Lucille Gunderson.

The winners of each class will meet in a final elimination contest in the near future. The three winners will represent W. H. S. in this district.
