A SCOURGE OF SCURVY

Carries Off Nearly the Entire Crew of a German Vessel.

A Philadelphia dispatch says: The German bark Olga arrived at the Delaware Breakwater Saturday night for orders from Samarang, Java, laden with sugar. She brought to a close a voyage of strange fatalities, having only a few of the original officers on board, Captain Dreyer, her commander, and five others having died of that dread disease scurvy, which so often breaks out on board vessels from the far east. The Olga sailed from Sourabaya on April 3d.
