Full Text

The Meeting of Congress.-It would appear from the tenor of an article in the Globe, that the causes which operated upon the President, to induce him to convene Congress, were not solely confined to the disturbances in the money affairs of the country. We are to infer that the late hostile movements in relation to Mexico, had something to do with it.

It is possible, however, that the seizure of the Mexican vessels of war, by those of the United States, may lead to results, which will require the immediate and positive action of the government.-Penn. Sent.
