CO-OP CURTAINS

When the floor of the Co-op hall began to wave up and down under the feet of the folk dancers, Rush City cooperators decided to act.

So the Co-op hall was remodeled, and on Jan. 23 members of four Co-op clubs got together to celebrate the achievement. Above you see Mr. and Mrs. Fred Westhoff (Fred is manager of the Chisago County Co-op) in front of the oil cloth CO-OP curtains which now decorate all the windows. The curtains were made by Mrs. Westhoff, as a member of the Moonlight Club. Ash trays made from CO-OP anti-freeze cans, two to a window, were another novel decorative feature.
