Another Progressive Step
Once again the officials of Montgomery County are to be congratulated for inaugurating a program for members of the Montgomery County Police department which will improve law enforcement.
The Police Science Training Program which began last week is designed to provide police officers with the opportunity to acquire a professional knowledge of the management, technical, legal, medical, psychological and sociological development in modern police work. It will be conducted by teachers from Maryland University.
Montgomery County is fortunate in having one of the finest law enforcement agencies in the country. And one of the reasons for this coveted reputation is due to the fact that the officials of the department and of the county are constantly seeking ways and means of improving all phases of this important arm of government.
This latest program is just another example of the progressive attitude possessed by our local officials. It is bound to bring even greater praise for our Montgomery County law enforcement agency.
