Andrew McKnight Asks Permission to Lay Track in Whiton Street.

Andrew McKnight yesterday petitioned the Board of Street and Water Commissioners to pass an ordinance granting him permission to construct a single track railway with a spur between the Newark and New York branch of the Central Railroad and the western end of his property in Whiton street. The proposed railway is to run through Whiton street. It is for the accommodation of a factory that is soon to be built on the McKnight property.
