Never was there known a Scene of greater Calamity in any one Family, at any one Time, than is now disclosed in that of the Duke of Beaufort. His Grace is confined to his Bed by a violent Sprain in his Leg: His Sister Lady Harriet Wynn is just buried; one of his Sons is lately died; his Consort the Duchess is confined to her Bed, with one of her Legs broken in two different Places; and News is arrived from Jamaica that her Grace's Brother, The Honourable Mr. Boscawen, has had the Misfortune to be drowned in that Island.
