Full Text

Senators.—In the Norfolk District, Wm. C. Holt is announced as a candidate.—In the Montgomery District, Dr. Alex. Morrison of Montgomery, and E. B. Bailey, Esq. of Greenbrier, are to be added to Messrs. Bourne and Hoge. In the Kanawha District, we fancy we were mistaken [or rather our informant] in saying that Messrs. Fry and Scott were candidates. The Kanawha Register mentions as candidates, Mr. Dunbar of Kanawha, & Mr. McComas of Cabell. In the Harrison District, Mr. Israel, [Editor Clarksburg Enquirer,] Mr. D. Kincheloe, Maj. McCauley of Harrison, Col. John McWhorter and John G. Stringer, Esq. of Lewis, are candidates.
