"The Eyes Of The Lord Are Upon
The
Righteous"
By REV. TASCHEREAU ARNOLD
CRY OF THE RIGHTEOUS
HEARD BY THE LORD
It is often thought by many that the righteous are the ones who receive the hardest time in this world. People who live close to the Lord are convinced that the Lord will not allow them to suffer more than they can stand up under.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord will deliver them out of all their troubles, if they trust in His Holy name. The fact that you are a Christian is no evidence that you are to have no troubles. Trouble sometimes brings the best that is in us out. We should pray not to escape trouble, but pray that we will be able to overcome our trouble.
The Master is nigh unto those with broken spirits: and He will never forsake us if we will keep his word diligently in our hearts.
When the righteous cry unto the Lord, things happen. We fail in many cases because we fail to cry unto God; but instead, we often put our trust in some man and that is where we fail. There is no sorrow in this world that heaven can not cure.
Moreover, the angel of the Lord is near those that fear Him. Some time we feel like the Lord send an angel to be by our side to protect us from harm and danger. It could be that a misty cloud is around the truly righteous as they move through space guiding them through the valley of despair.
If you have not been trusting in the Lord, would not it be a fine thing to put your trust in Him? We have sought the Lord on several occasions and He faithfully delivered us from our trouble. Not only should we cry unto God when we are in trouble, but we should serve Him while we are minus of trouble. Selah.
