Aged Almost a Century-Still Spry
High Hill vicinity boasts of a woman who was 99 years old March 9, in the person of Mrs. Jane Harris. On the day preceding her birthday she did extra baking for a birthday party she was giving, and on her birthday dressed a chicken, and was the "main spoke" in the kitchen in the preparation of dinner. Her health continues to be splendid, and she works every day and enjoys life in general.
While now living in Muskingum county, she was formerly of Reinersville, and is a sister of Mrs. Sidney Arrick, mother of Mr. Ben Arrick of near Neelyville, and is also an aunt by marriage, to Mrs. Nancy Arrick of this place.
