"Stubby" White, an eight-year-old son of a farmer living near Osier, ran away one afternoon about two months ago and has never been seen or heard of since then. When last observed the little boy was running along the Rapid river toward the field where the hired man was working. The woods and fields near the home were searched for weeks but to no avail. Recently the searching parties turned in bills amounting to $212 for provisions and auto hire and were paid. The boy's mother has distractedly searched the woods for weeks calling for her child.
