After Ore Samples.
Fred Sweeney, formerly of this place but now of Bisbee, who owns a group of mining claims about nine miles from Grommet station, came up last week and went out to his claims to get some ore samples, returning Saturday to Bisbee. The Bartlettville Smelter company of Oklahoma, it appears, has agreed to receive large shipments of his ore, provided it assays up to expectations, and that was what brought him here. As he has large quantities of ore on the dump that will go as high as $75 per ton, it is quite safe to say that shipping of ore from that point will be under way before long.
