In pursuance of the orders of the President, the public offices were closed throughout the day yesterday. The President, as will be seen by his letter to the Baltimore Committee, could not attend the obsequies of the departed Patriot, whose funeral takes place to-day at Baltimore, but a large number of our citizens, we understand, have gone over to witness or join in the ceremonies, amongst whom is the handsome volunteer company, the National Cadets, commanded by Capt. Moore. - Nat. Int. of Saturday.
