The River and Harbor Bill

WASHINGTON, July 30.-The conferees on the river and harbor bill have reached an agreement, and the bill and the report will be presented to the House this afternoon. The Hennepin Canal clause remains in the bill, with modifications providing for the acceptance by the government of the Illinois and Michigan canal and the survey of the Hennepin canal. The Potomac flats, New York harbor and other items of importance are conceded by the House conferees. No cut is made in it of any appropriation less than $20,000.
