Alexander Lukaas, member of Revolutionary Congress and Hungarian army commissary, arrived in New York from Hungary a few days ago, heading west to reside and empowered to buy land for three thousand Central Hungarians. He is one of eleven outlawed by General Windisgratz in December 1848 upon entering Hungary with Austrian army. After Hungarian army overthrow, Lukaas hid until escaping last March.
