Dear Sir:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the city folk of Kodiak, the Navy Commanders, Caldwell and Bast and their ladies, and especially the Kodiak Shriners and their ladies, for the hospitality shown the Anchorage Shriners during our recent visit to the Crab Festival. You folks certainly have a way of making visitors feel at home.
Everyone commented on the delightful food served at the Shrine Club and the Elks Club. Never before have we eaten crab prepared in so many delightful ways.
All the ladies that made this trip are very eager to get the crab recipes featured in the dinner at the Elks Club, and we would like to know if some of the Kodiak ladies would share their crab recipes with us? If they would mail them to us, we would be glad to get them mimeographed and distributed.
Again may we offer a tremendous thanks to all of you for a job well done.
Very sincerely,
CWO & Mrs. James V. Lamb, Sr.
