Ypsilanti Junior Chamber of Commerce, at the Saginaw state war conference Saturday, was awarded a trophy in recognition of its work during the past year in public health activities. Charles Seedorf is chairman of the health committee of the local Junior Chamber of Commerce and was especially active during the infantile paralysis fund campaign in January.
Six Ypsilanti representatives attending the Saginaw meeting were Arthur Forche, chairman of the delegation; Charles Hill, Hugh Dinsdale James Riley, Norman Speer and Clifford Bennett.
William Shepherd, Pine Bluff, Ark. national president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce clubs, told the convention that every effort should be made by the membership all over the United States to keep the organization and its program intact so that they could make their contribution toward the preservation of American institutions and well being.
