THE BALLOON.

Mr. Guillé went up yesterday afternoon about 5 o'clock, from Vauxhall Garden.—The wind was fresh at S. S. E. and took the Balloon in its current after it had reached the height of about 50 feet above the tops of the trees. After skimming at that height over the surface about three quarters of a mile, the Balloon descended near Love-lane, without injury to the aeronaut. It is judged that about 50,000 persons collected to witness the ascent, and that about 3000 paid for admission to Vauxhall Garden. They generally returned home—disappointed.
