The entire block surrounding the Stewart House at 1507 Massachusetts street took part in the annual Halloween party Friday night from 4 to 8 p.m.

Willing mothers of children in the block chaperoned the group and helped with refreshments donated by midtown merchants.

The festivities included dancing for all the teenagers on the back basketball court.

Members of the Stewart House staff who helped to make the affair a success were, Mr. William Staples, Mr. James Golden, Mrs. Josephine Cauley, Mr. Harry Taylor, Rev. Arthur Davis, and Miss Mamie Smith.

The nursery school tots held their party on Friday morning under the auspices of Mrs. Mayola Young and Mrs. Mary Waddles.
