LADY HAMILTON.
The Lady of Sir Wm. Hamilton, K. B who, with her husband some time ago accompanied Lord Nelson to England, being variously spoken of, as to her personal charms; a short sketch of her exterior may be acceptable to many of our readers. Her Ladyship is in her 40th year, rather taller than the common height, till displaying a superior graceful animation of figure, now a little on the wane from too great a propensity to the en bon point. Her attitudinarian grace, so varying in their style and captivating in their effect, are declining so under this unfortunate personal extension. Her teeth are lovely, and her hair is of the darkest brown, immensely thick, and trails to the ground. Her eyes are black, and possess the most fascinating attraction; but her nose is rather too short for the Grecian contour of her face, which notwithstanding is singularly expressive; and her conversation, if not solid and argumentative, is at least bright and unceasing.—Such, after ransacking Herculaneum, and Pompeii, for thirty eight years, is the chief curiosity with which that celebrated Antiquarian, Sir William Hamilton, has returned to his native country.

She accompanied Lord Nelson to England with her husband; Sir William returned after 38 years studying Herculaneum and Pompeii.
