DEMOCRATS IN MARKET—The Intelligencer intimates that Judge McARTHUR, Judge HUBBELL, E. H. BRODHEAD, JONATHAN E. ARNOLD, and others who have recently taken strong Union grounds, have done so for the sake of petty offices under the Administration. We always knew that office was the sticking plaster which held the Democratic party together, but we have too high an opinion of the gentlemen named to think they love offices better than the country. Had our neighbor been among the members, we should have had no doubt upon the subject.
