They also ordered the Bill for the better Government of Quebec to be read a second Time on Monday, and the Lords to be summoned.
The Order of the Day was read for receiving the Report of the Bill for the impartial Administration of Justice in the Cases of Persons questioned for any Act done by them in the Execution of the Law, or for the Suppression of Riots and Tumults, in the Province of the Massachusetts Bay, in New England; when a strong Opposition was made against the Bill, and after a strong Debate the Bill was reported, and ordered to be engrossed.
