Laredo Has Cotton Exchange Now

Laredo is keeping apace with the live cities of the country and gradually getting those things that are a necessity in these times of great activity. There has been installed on the lower floor of the Hamilton Hotel, in the east end of the new building, one of the most complete and up to date cotton exchanges to be found anywhere in the country.

Here you will find the east wall of the building with a series of bulletin boards carrying all the stocks of the principal markets of the world, the latest quotations on grain, cotton, stocks, etc. And all the time the telegraph ticker on the wall is busy grinding out the latest figures covering the various markets.

This is a big thing for Laredo.
