THE DANGER SEASON.
The danger season seems to be getting under way now and making some very good scores among the automobile drivers. We have heard of a number of minor accidents occurring in our immediate neighborhood within the last few days, especially during last Saturday and Sunday; but no one was hurt.
On last Sunday evening a Studebaker Touring car, containing about six people, left the road near the Clintwood Taxi Co's. garage and plunged over the bank knocking down the guard fence and run into Mr. Ralph Beverley's garden. As luck would have it no one was hurt; but several posts of the fence were torn out and Mr. Beverley's garden looked like a streak of bad luck had visited it, after they had taken the car down through it. We do not know whether the "Lizzard juice" was in the gas tank or where, but from the looks of the scene and the report of the town sergeant there certainly were some about the car, altho, it was concealed, it didn't fail to show it's effects.
