Full Text

The New-York Courier, of Friday last, contains the following advertisement:

"For SALE, the establishment of the New-York Courier, on reasonable terms. If not disposed of by Monday next, the publication will be suspended."

In the discontinuance of the "Courier," the cause of federalism, of which it has been an able and indefatigable supporter, will experience a loss not easily supplied. We may be allowed to express our wonder—that in the opulent and liberal city of New-York, the genius and talents of Gardenier have not been suitably rewarded.
