The telegraph gives us a lengthy detail of Sherman's movements since he left Atlanta, as taken from the Southern papers. They predict that Sherman is directing his course toward Darien or Brunswick. It appears that Sherman was at Sandersville on the 26th. He was at Milledgeville on the 25th, having arrived there on Sunday, the 20th. When at Sandersville he was distant from Atlanta 125 miles. His army had destroyed but little property up to last accounts. Wheeler was in close pursuit of Sherman's cavalry at Waynesboro.
